Faith & Service

St. Christopher firmly believes that Religion is an important role in the formation of our Catholic faith and gospel values.  All our students begin their morning with a prayer and attend a Religion class daily.  We expand their knowledge and understanding of God, Church, community and the world by following the curriculum guidelines by grade level set forth by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

We provide sacramental preparation classes for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion for our students.  All the students preparing to receive these sacraments must register through the CCE office even if they are attending classes through the school.

Our school Mass is celebrated on Wednesdays at 8:30 AM and all of our students attend and participate.  We have a Children’s and Youth Choir, that take part during the Mass and other students are given an opportunity to serve during the liturgy as a reader, altar server and offertory gift presenters.

Many of our Junior High students participate in our Student Ambassador Program by serving in the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry at our Church and they put together bags of food to help our community.
