What is the Annual Fund and Why is it Necessary?
The Annual Fund was established to encourage and recognize the loyalty and support of our faculty, staff, current and former parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends of St. Christopher. Gifts to the Annual Fund are very important as they help support the general operating expenses of our school. The full cost of educating a student at St. Christopher is roughly $8,500 while tuition is currently $7,500. There is a deficit of $1,000 per student that our school has to recover at the end of the fiscal year. We rely on the Annual Fund to make up this difference without having to increase tuition.
Why Contribute to the Annual Fund?
Funds raised through the Annual Fund have a direct impact on the everyday lives of our students and are applied in a variety of ways. Every dollar you contribute to our Annual Fund benefits each student who comes to our school. The stronger the Annual Fund, the better equipped our school is to provide an excellent educational environment. Funds are used to meet the school’s pressing needs – enriched academic programs, faculty development, enhancements to technology, and maintenance of our grounds and facilities. Your generosity to St. Christopher and your participation in the Annual Fund enables current students to receive a learning experience of the highest quality, preparing them to become our future leaders.
How Much Should I Give to the Annual Fund?
Most of our Annual Fund donors are not wealthy patrons. Any gift, regardless of size, is important. Even those of us without large incomes can spare $10 to $50 a year. This is about participation and expressing support for St. Christopher, not about giving large gifts. Our goal is to build 100% participation and create a solid foundation for the future of our students and our school.
Can I Make an Annual Fund Gift In Honor or In Memory of Someone?
Yes. Gifts can be made to the Annual Fund in honor or in memory of a loved one, friend, or colleague. Please include the name of the individual you wish to honor in the space provided when you make your gift.
Is a Gift to the Annual Fund Tax Deductible?
Yes. St. Christopher Catholic School is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit and all gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
What if my employer matches my donation?
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Click here to find out if your company is listed and has a matching gift policy. If you do not see your company, you can check with your Human Resources department to see if they participate in a program.

If you prefer to drop off your donation in person, our school office is open Monday – Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM (August thru May). Summer hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Closed on Fridays (June/July).
Option 3: Online Option
St. Christopher Catholic School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Donations of any size are much needed and greatly appreciated.
