Toyneshia Knighton

Mrs. T. Knighton has been teaching for eight years in public and private schools since 2014. A graduate of Chavez High School, Mrs. Knighton was born and raised in Houston, Texas but her roots are in St. Martinville, Louisiana. She received a B.A. in Professional Studies at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois and then completed her Masters in Educational Leadership at University of St. Thomas. As a teacher, she believes it is her obligation to ensure that all students meet the highest expectations in the classroom by hard work, dedication, and perseverance.  Teaching is about being creative, inspiring, and motivating students every day.
